US test Hypersonic missile scheduled launch during the Festive Season, 2020. By Tim Tufuga

The US Military have scheduled to launch their first hypersonic missile test during the festive season in December 2020.

The Australian invention of the scramjet, two decades ago, more specifically, a University of Queensland patent, has been acknowledged as the prototype for the hypersonic missile system which has been developed by the US Air Force's Air Launched Rapid Response weapon system (ARRW) and the cruise missile hypersonic missile, the Hypersonic air breathing weapon concept (HAWC) hypersonic missile system today. The Australian partnership with the US Military has led to the ARRW hypersonic missile test this week.

The Hypersonic missile development, has been a joint military intelligence venture which has not been so classified after the University of Queensland's Professor Stalker's scramjet breakthrough announcement in 2001, which has been the Australian scramjet invention which had morphed into the modern hypersonic missile system.

Prior to this momentus

Australia has played a major role in the development of the US Hypersonic missile defence system.
