No Terror Threat was the Abdi case prior to the QPS shooting of Abdi, which means that the Officers involved in the shooting incident will undergo a long drawn out investigation which will also mean that Racial Profiling will be considered.
The Parkinson double murder will mitigate the QPS Officer's internal investigation over the incident which will arouse more questions about the community attitudes simmering amongst the Abdi relatives, peers and his community at large. Whether, a lone wolf radicalised Australian of Somali descent could have known associates with probable links to known Terrorist Organisations in the region, such as the Islamic State in Somalia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_State_in_Somalia
Again, as I have alluded to in earlier times, the likelihood of radicalisation of many disaffected and despondent second generation youth from various multicultural backgrounds, may create a conducive environment for radicalisation. The Abdi case, is not unusual in Australia, or anywhere in Western Societies.
What may trigger these incidents may seem random but during certain religious events there is a propensity for acts of violence and Terrorism whether they be sourced from radicalised foreign born terrorism or xenophobic reactionaries resisting multiculturalism as an antithesis to their established, hitherto, homogenous society.
Must I revise my old writings on this matter over the past few decades? It is the same old reasons, same old ideological underpinnings, just different times, locations and players.
